Oct 2, 2007 was crazy. The date right after the public holiday in Hong Kong. Everyone was back to work.

I tried internet banking, not working. Went to the bank, the queue was up to the front entrance. The Heng Seng Index up high as usual. Everyone is into fast money. Can you imagine how much productivity has been drawn away from our current labour force if a significant portion of people are buying stock to earn fast money ? They would no longer concentrate on their work, always sneak up a little time during office hour to get a peek over their internet, irregular heart beats driven by the ups and downs of the stock market which in turn affects their work performance. There is no fast money. You want to earn money out of the stock market, you got to be gluing your eyes to the computer screen all day long from 10 to 4. That sure is a full time job and nothing is guaranteed ! You might fly up high into the sky but at times, you might also end up in a dump.
